Merry Christmas!

I’d just like to wish everyone a merry Christmas. I hope everyone has a wonderful holiday period and a great 2008.

I’ve been really busy updating my photography website over the past few weeks so I have been less inclined to post. The problem with PHP is that it is deceptively simple, until it comes to making it 100% bulletproof for other people. I’ve decided that I’m going to take the next step with the website and give users the ability to register and upload photos (no one will actually do this because there are so many other, better photo sharing sites out there) but I thought it would be another challenge for me. So I’ve learnt how to manipulate images on the server, and I’ve made a whole other user section with registration and profiles etc.

The really difficult things to set up are the user relationships and photo access in my opinion. I’m having difficulty writing queries that return only the images that a specific user should have access to. Anyway I’ll get there.
