Fonts are sexy
I want to be a graphic designer. It is almost poetic:
Roman (serif) faces do join, align and shape words better than sans serifs. Walking serifs hint at a baseline of sorts, and align letters and words to one another. If you look closely at the serifs of any roman face, you’ll notice that their horizontal reach suggests a juncture between the letters within a word.
The thick and thin strokes of serif faces bring more texture and variety to the text. (Bivins 1991).
